London is full of places that give you access to buy and taste all sorts of different local and artisan produce. Thanks to the variety of cultures living in London we are able to experience food and drink from around the world. I already gave you a guide to my favorite markets in London London Food Markets
If you have a soft spot for chocolate as I do this article is “the one” to read 🙂 Let me share with you my favorite London places to enjoy your chocolate moment! 🙂
Godiva in Harrods
As Harrods was my working place me and my colleagues used to go there quiet ofter to treat ourselves. Chocolate fondue, hot chocolate, chocolate strawberries and Godiva truffles = heaven in your mouth. Godiva restaurant is located on the second floor.
What a fairytale venue, friendly staff, delicious cupcakes and decent coffee. Place which you may already know from Instagram of international fashion and lifestyle bloggers coming to London! Not only a great place to catch up with you bf but also a great spot to go with your mum and sister. They change the decoration regarding the season of the year – Easter, Christmas, Mother’s Day … All colorful and fun.
Christopher’s Pancakes & Cocktails
Salty and sweet pancakes which you can make as you wish from the list. Simply tick the boxes and enjoy yourself. This restaurant is not famous only for theirs pancakes but also for a selection of martinis. My favorite one? Nutella Martini! 🙂
Rushing in the streets of London?
Lola’s Cupcakes x Ben’s Cokies
There is not a person living in London who doesn’t know Lola’s cupcake and Ben’s Cookie!
You can grab Lola in the Piccadilly tube station while going to visit new Lego Store, Ben’s Cookie on the way home from Selfridges while taking the Jubilee or Central line from Bond Street tube station or while shopping in Carnaby Street.
There is no way you visiting London and coming back home without having it.
You should not miss the Chinese bakeries in China town. You can find cakes, salty or sweet pastry, fortune cookies and many more which you will fall in love with. Take a few home or have them with your picnic during summer in James’s Park which is just a few minutes walk from there.
The best meeting point just behind the London’s Piccadilly Circus screens.
Delicious coffee and beautiful setting in a grand Parisian brasserie which was transported to the heart of London. You can meet me there enjoying my coffee every time I am passing by Soho, browsing or shopping in the near by shops in Carnaby or Regent Street or meeting my friends before cinema.
This brasserie is not only a great place to have a cup of tea of coffee but at the basement is a decent restaurant and you can buy tickets to the cabaret or chanson concert happening in the dancing hall right next to the restaurant.
Are you a doughnuts lover? There are few Crosstown places around London which will give you few options of yummy yummy doughnuts.
Last time I visited was on the St. Patrick day. I have to say their special edition doughnut for that day was definitely worth to break the diet rules.
Sweet Gift for your loved ones?
Harrods Chocolate Hall
Going to the family dinner, want to treat your mother in law, last minute Bday shopping in Harrods? You can’t make a mistake with a box of chocolate! The best place to go to purchase a box of Charbonnel et Walker champagne truffles, Godiva strawberries, famous Harrods Cocoa Dusted Almonds, Ladureé Macarons and many more.
Unfortunately there are more places which are opening all the time and the queues are longer and longer every day such as Milk Train or Bubblewrap in Chinatown! If you are lucky enough or have a spare hour to join the queue do not miss those places 😛
