A Short Weekend in Mykonos

The second weekend of October and last weekend of the summer season we decided to visit the party island of Mykonos.

It may seem strange to arrive after the clubs closing parties but this time of year is a great time to explore the island without being surrounded by crowds of tourists.

Bill&Coo Suites

The privacy and luxury of the Bill&Coo Coastal Suites, veranda with the infinity pool, view of Aegean Sea, amazing service, smart design makes for a place where you feel spoiled and truly special.
The suites of your dreams are located on the South-West side of Mykonos about 10 minutes drive from Mykonos town and the main Bill&Coo hotel building.

The whole experience was unique and i could see why it is rated as one of the top hotels in the island.

Exploring Mykonos town

I love simplicity, white pure buildings with a touch of blue   which Greece and Mykonos as well is known for.

Thanks to the lack of tourists we were able to fully enjoy the beauty of sunset from a balcony in the area of the town known as Little Venice without any hassle and away from the usual crowds who gather every evening.

We could explore the town uninterrupted and made the most of it.

Dinning in Mykonos

Bill & Coo’s Gourmet Restaurant

The tasting menu at the Bill & Coo’s Gourmet Restaurant was one of the best meals I have ever had, 8 courses beautiful presented and with the taste to match. Whilst waiting for the restaurant to open you can relax with a couple of drinks in the lounge and enjoy the breathtaking view of the sunset!
I would highly recommend a visit to the hotel restaurant for the romantic and gastronomic experience.

La familia

The restaurant La familia is located in the Old Town of the Mykonos, you can’t miss this place as the decoration makes it a bit of a tourist trap. It is definately worth visiting for a meal to try some more traditional Greek wine and food.

Overall the trip to Mykonos was an absolutely fantastic holiday which turned to be a great adventure as well.. Thanks to the Greek Air Traffic Controllers … But thats another story for a new article 😉

Having experienced Mykonos from the calm romantic side I will be definitely returning to check out the party side as well.
